Probably not much more than if you did NOT eat Mentos.
The amount of stomach fluids will dilute the soft drink and it’s carbonation to the point where there would not be much of an effect.
It is the texture of Mentos (microscopically it looks rather like a sponge), and each little point is a place for ‘seed bubbles’ to form in the compressed, carbonated beverage.
Watered down in your tum, there would be little or no effect.

I dunno…I think I’ve heard (and i think some people i “know” tried this) that if you eat Mentos and drink Dr.Pepper (or any soda) after it that it produces some explosion or reaction in your body? Doesthis really happen? Could you die or something?

There is a reaction and no you can’t die from it. In fact the Mythbusters did several shows featuring it. Same thing with Pop Rocks.
